Mother of Missing Child Released From Jail for Third Time

Casey Anthony, mother of missing child Caylee Anthony, was released from an Orlando jail on charges of petty theft, check forgery, and using a false identity.

Young Caylee Anthony has been missing since June of this year. However, her mother chose to not alert the authorities until almost a month after her disappearance. This and other details made private by the police have given them reason to identify the mother as a person of interest in the case.

Records of a 911 call show that there were some very suspicious things going on with a car that Casey Anthony owned. During the 911 call Cindy Anthony, grandmother of the missing child, commented: "There's something wrong. I found my daughter's car today, and it smells like there's been a dead body in the damn car."

Wow this is a very interesting story. I think she should have kept her but in jail for just waiting that long to call the police. The grandmothers quote definitely brings suspicion to the entire case. I wonder how else the media is playing their part in the case, because I didn't here about this on the news yet.

I also have not heard about this story. I cannot believe the police are not holding her in custody. She is obviously suspected of murdering her daughter. I hope the media is going to do its part by bringing this story to light.

That is absurd that they are not holding her in custody. I can't believe the comment about the car smelling like a dead body. This story seems to get stranger everyday.

Everyone knows she did it. It is just so hard because the only evidence there is that there was supposedly residue of a dead body found in her trunk by the police. I really feel horrible about the whole thing. I don't know if the media can really do anything about this anymore. I mean Nancy Grace has had this topic on her show since it first came out and I have not heard any progress since then. I know it is a little pathetic but I like to hope that little Caylee is alive and okay somewhere and I hope she is found soon. I also wish that they could convict Casey Anthony, she shows no remorse for her missing child, while both of her parents are on a continual search.

I know all about this case because I just moved here from Orland a month ago. I just can not believe they let the mother go with petty theft. I dont know if the child was rebelious and ran away from home but the mother still should have notified the police sooner than one month.

This has been all over the news. It really creeps me out that she maybe killed her child. It also is bad that she is getting off but I guess there is not enough evidence to convict her. I have thought of myself as ruthless when it comes to business but killing your own child is insane.

Ive been watching this story in the news, and cannot get over it. I cant believe that the mother didnt report her daughter missing until after 30 days. Something oviously isnt right, and I hope that they find out what happened to the little girl. The mother is obviously lying, and in the end I hope justice is served.
